Name calling... shirt pulling... bat throwing... Wow. The mid-pitch confrontation between Shane Warne and Marlon Samuels earlier this week during their BBL clash was just what the BBL needed. Bringing more attention to the game than any of the 30-odd games before it. Why? Because it's the very reason why people love sport - rivalry and passion.
I don't want to see bust ups all the time, but I like to see passion in sport. And if that passion involves some name calling and finger pointing, then yeah - bring it.
